Social Justice Committee

The Social Justice committee is dedicated to advancing equity, dignity and opportunity to underserved children and families in our community. Guided by the belief that every person deserves to have their basic needs met, we work to identify and address gaps in access to essential items and resources.

One of the committee’s efforts involves asking everyone who attends a We the People of Henderson meeeting to bring a canned protein for the Henderson Equality Center’s food bank.

The committee is currently working on deciding how to best serve underserved communities in Henderson by partnering with organizations that work with the homeless.
