About Us

In December 2025, the small group of women who organized the October 2025 No Kings protest in Henderson formed We the People of Henderson (WTPH). The idea was to bring together like-minded Henderson residents to work on organizing future protests, voter education events, and social justice initiatives, as well as providing a way to meet and socialize with like-minded Henderson residents.

All like-minded members of the Henderson community (men and women!) are welcome to join the group and contribute in whichever way works for them: taking on a leadership role, attending events, or volunteering on an as-needed basis.

Guided by a Steering Committee, WTPH activities are organized and run by four different committees: 

• Social Activism: plans protests/visibility events/rallies such as No Kings
• Voter Education: coordinates and plans voter registration drives and voter education events
• Social Justice: coordinates activities related to social justice, such as food insecurity.
• FUN: An acronym for Fostering Unity & Networking, the FUN Committee is responsible for planning social activities for the group.
