Social Activism Committee

The Social Activism Committee is dedicated to the empowerment of the people of Henderson, NV through broad community mobilization, an unwavering pursuit of justice, and a dedication to unity. We seek to build bridges across neighborhoods, uplift marginalized voices, and cultivate a city where collective action and shared values drive meaningful progress for all.

This committee organized the Stand Up Sunday and No Kings 3 visibility events in Henderson. We had approximately 2,200 participants in No Kings Henderson. We’ll be back to organize No Kings 4 whenever the date is announced.

If you want to help out either by planning an event, volunteering to serve as a safety marshal or general volunteer, or donating supplies (such as bottled water and snacks), this is the committee for you.
