Due to vacation and folks fleeing the summer heat, the Steering Committee has decided to pause our monthly meetings at the Henderson Equality Center for the summer months. Instead, we will be having more informal events for people to join, which will include discussing our committee work and business. Please join us for happy hour at WSKY on Thursday, June 11, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. This will replace our June meeting! During Happy Hour, WSKY offers $7.00 bar bites & 50% off select cocktails, well drinks and draft beers. If the weather is nice we can sit in the outdoor patio area or inside if it’s too windy or hot. In addition, we are asking everyone to bring hydration packets (e.g., electrolyte stick packs) or protein (e.g., beans or tuna fish) that can be opened WITHOUT a can opener to support our homeless outreach efforts with The People’s Medic.
